In the first inning of Game 2 of the World Series, the Houston Astros picked up an early three-run lead over the Philadelphia Phillies en route to their eventual, series-tying win. Facing Phillies hurler Zack Wheeler, leadoff batter Jose Altuve started the night off with a double. One at-bat later, Jeremy Pena squeezed a double of his own down the left-field line, scoring Altuve. Then, Yordan Alvarez added an RBI double, scoring Pena to mark the first time a team has started a World Series game with three extra-base hits.
