Albert Pujols

On this day, Albert Pujols hit the 30th home run of his 2004 Major League Baseball campaign. Remarkably, this meant that in each of his first four MLB seasons, the Dominican-born Pujols belted at least 30 longballs. This milestone blast came in a contest between his St. Louis Cardinals and the Montréal Expos, when Pujols connected with a pitch off Expos hurler Sun-Woo Kim in the first inning, giving his Club an early 2-0 lead.
