In yesterday's contest between the Angels and the Tampa Bay Rays, Shohei Ohtani belted the first grand slam of his Major League Baseball career. In the seventh inning, Ohtani connected on a pitch from Rays hurler Calvin Faucher for his second home run of the game. Not only was his grand slam a career-first for Ohtani, but his five-RBI showing set a new career-high mark as well. Naturally, Ohtani's incredible at-the-plate performance helped his Angels to rout the Rays, 11-3.
