In what was his most prolific Major League Baseball performance, St. Louis Cardinals rookie Brendan Donovan notched four RBI and a game-winning, extra-base hit in the second game of this doubleheader. In the fourth inning of this contest, Donovan struck a line drive to left field that brought two home to give his Cardinals the lead. In the 10th inning, Donovan would double again to lead his Club to victory over the Chicago Cubs, 7-4.
