The St. Louis Cardinals had an electric start to their Sunday afternoon contest against the Toronto Blue Jays, belting three home runs in the first inning to supercharge the Club's offense en route to their eventual, 9-4 victory. The trio responsible for the outpouring were Brendan Donovan, Alec Burleson, and 22-year-old Nolan Gorman. Furthermore, Gorman, who evidently wasn't satisfied with just one homer, connected for a second one in the third inning.
