Matt Carpenter is solidifying himself as one of the best assets in his New York Yankees lineup, and yesterday, the Galveston, Texas native was good for an incredible seven RBI and two home runs. Phenomenally, this slugging streak marks the first time a Yankees batter has hit six home runs in their first ten games in pinstripes, and makes him just the second player since 1900 to include six home runs in their first seven hits of a season. Carpenter's incredible performance helped his Club to an 18-4 blowout victory over the Chicago Cubs.
