The 2022 MLB season may only be a week old, but New York Mets designated hitter/first baseman Pete Alonso is already vying for the National League RBI title. The Queens-based slugger was outstanding on Wednesday afternoon, sending his Mets teammates across the plate five times in a 9-6 win over Philadelphia. The 27-year-old now has 10 RBI through the first seven games of the season – the best mark in the League.
