In what has been a final season filled with milestones and standing ovations, St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols made more personal history on Tuesday evening in Toronto. The 22-year veteran played in his 3,027th career MLB game, passing Hall-of-Famers Stan Musial and Eddie Murray to claim sole possession of sixth all-time on the career games played list. Pujols shouldn’t have to wait too long to move into fifth, sitting only seven behind Ty Cobb at 3,034.
