Bryce Miller has been dealing for the Seattle Mariners this season. However, despite this hot start to his rookie campaign, he still had not been able to pick up his first Major League win. That changed on Sunday. The 24-year-old was once again throwing all the right stuff against the Houston Astros. He pitched through six scoreless innings, giving up just two hits and one walk, while also striking out five batters. He is only the second player since 1901 to go six or more innings and allow just two hits in his first two games (Ken Cloude, also of the Mariners). His efforts on the mound guided his team to a 3-1 win.
