The 24-year-old right-handed hurler had another must-watch performance against the Oakland Athletics on Wednesday when he threw six scoreless innings, allowing just two hits and a walk while striking out six batters. The rookie is the first pitcher since at least 1901 to pitch six or more innings and allow four hits or fewer in each of his first five career appearances. Miller's jaw-dropping outing paved the way for his Mariners to take home the win, 6-1.
