The young arms of the Angels Chase Silseth and the Mariners Bryce Miller were on full display Sunday. The opposing pitchers threw for a combined 12 innings and three runs allowed. However, each finished their outing with double-digit punchouts, Silseth with 12 and Miller with 10. It's only the second time that two rookie pitchers racked up ten or more strikeouts in the same game since at least 1901. The Mariners got the slim, 3-2 win over the Angels, as the rookie pitchers shined.
