Tampa Bay Rays legend Wade Boggs was inducted into the franchise's inaugural Hall of Fame class in a special pregame ceremony on Sunday afternoon. The Tampa Bay baseball icon set several "firsts" for the Club as the first Rays player to hit a home run, the first to reach 3,000 hits, and the first to ever be inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Boggs tallied 12 MLB All-Star Game appearances, eight Silver Slugger Awards, five American League batting titles, and a World Series title during his illustrious career.
