Mike Ford helped fuel the New York Yankees with a two-run home run in the fifth inning to send the team out to a 4-0 lead. The home run was Ford's first in MLB and highlighted his solid 2-for-3 game at the plate. The big game helped lead the Yankees to an eventual 7-5 victory over the Angels.
