AUGUST 19, 2007 — During a stellar performance against the Diamondbacks, John Smoltz became the Braves all-time leader in strikeouts. The right-hander fired eight innings, struck out 12 and set the Club's new record at 2,920 Ks. The dominant effort led the Braves to a 6-2 win.
