Albert Pujols

Coming off a heroic walk-off home run in the bottom of the 12th inning against the Chicago Cubs to take a two games to none lead in their three-game set, Albert Pujols delivered another extra-inning game-winner to complete the series sweep. In the bottom of the 10th inning with the score tied at two, “The Machine” connected on a fastball and sent it well into the left-center-field seats. Busch Stadium erupted as Pujols became just the 11th player in MLB history to hit game-ending homers in consecutive games.
