On his 38th birthday, Joey Votto led the charge for the Cincinnati Reds 4-2 win over the St. Louis Cardinals with a historic performance at the plate. In the top of the fourth inning, the six-time MLB All-Star connected on a hanging breaking ball and sent it just over the left-center field wall for a solo blast. This homer marked Votto's 325th career longball, placing him past Frank Robinson for the second most in franchise history.
