Mark McGwire

Just after a game-winning,16th-inning homer in the series finale against the Blue Jays, Mark McGwire stepped up to the plate against the Indians in the top of the 16th inning with the game tied, 2-2. McGwire connected for another dramatic homer to give the Oakland Athletics a lead they would not lose. With that swing, Mark became the only player in MLB history to club homers in the 16th inning on consecutive days.
