Zack Greinke

While picking up the 2-1 win in yesterday afternoon's meeting between his Kansas City Royals and the Texas Rangers, veteran hurler Zack Greinke notched the 500th start of his Major League Baseball career. Incredibly, this made Greinke the first active player to reach this mark, and this momentous start was made sweeter by the Club's victory. Over the course of this milestone-passing performance, Greinke whiffed three Rangers batters, walking only one, and allowed just one run through six innings.
