Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Zack Greinke rewrote some Club history during his outing against the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday night. The 38-year-old recorded his 1,000th career strikeout in a Royals uniform in the top of the third against Jake Cave, becoming just the seventh pitcher in team history to reach that mark. Greinke, who rejoined the team this season after playing in Kansas City from 2004-2010, passed Tom "Flash" Gordon for seventh all-time in punchouts.
