Kansas City Royals pitcher Zack Greinke was tossing all the right stuff on Wednesday night against the Baltimore Orioles. At 39 years old, the former Cy Young Award winner barely broke a sweat during his outing, going five innings and needing only 44 pitches to do so. Capturing his first victory of the 2023 season, Greinke is the first pitcher since Greg Maddux back in 2003 to earn a win with throwing 44 or less pitches in a game.
