Specifically, through his first three starts, not only does Castillo remain undefeated, but he has also smithed a new franchise record for strikeouts in one's first three performances for the Mariners with 24, passing Hall-of-Famer Gaylord Perry with 23. Additionally, Castillo's six-inning, nine-strikeout performance helped his Mariners take home a 6-2 victory.
