After hitting the 696th home run of his Major League Baseball career, Albert Pujols is now tied with Alex Rodriguez for fourth on the all-time home runs list. In the sixth inning of last night's meeting between his St. Louis Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Pirates, Pujols crushed a pitch from JT Brubaker, sending it a whopping 418 feet and well over the left-field wall, to tie Rodriguez's career mark. Furthermore, the two-run home run was also practical, as it contributed to the Cardinals eventual 7-5 victory.
