Zack Wheeler put together another brilliant outing as he tossed seven scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts in the 8-3 win over the Miami Marlins. The 30-year-old hurler also went 1-for-2 at the plate with a double which marked his second performance of 2021 with 10-plus strikeouts and an extra base hit. The only other Philadelphia Phillies hurler to accomplish that feat twice in a season was Hall-of-Famer Steve Carlton, both in 1972 and 1982.
